October is the time for pumpkins! Pumpkins are everywhere! And I don’t know about you but I really love pumpkin flavored everything. So in honor of October and my love for pumpkin everything I put together a round-up of 20 of the best simple and cozy fall pumpkin recipes.
I’ve included a lot of Paleo/GF/Keto recipes because that is how I eat, but my family does not so I’ve also included some regular recipes that do include gluten and dairy. Even though they eat a little differently I do still try to keep it pretty healthy most of the time, though I’m not necessarily the sugar police, you know most of the time. Ha! So really there is something for everyone.
Also there are several traditional recipes, but also some unique ones that maybe you or I haven’t tried before.
Lisa at Farmhouse on Boone actually has a ton of really great, healthy pumpkin recipes. I love how she even sneaks pumpkin into her recent stuffed peppers recipe. She also has a youtube channel so you can see her make all her pumpkin recipes. You should definitely check this one out.
I thought this one looks really unique and different. Sometimes you can have only so many pumpkin lattes, pumpkin muffins and the like. It’s a savory dish, that would be good for a fall party. Be worth trying it out!
This recipe looks like it could easily be adapated to GF/DF. I’ve been on the hunt lately for healthier cookies that sneak oats in them. For some reason some of my kids don’t like regular oatmeal. I still make it sometimes but if I can add it into a cookie all the better.
Quick and easy pumpkin soup. I’m looking forward to trying this recipe. Everyone needs a super quick and easy soup recipe. I have a bunch of pumpkins I plan on cooking up after their time is served as decorations. This recipe definitely fits the bill for a busy tired mama!
This one looks really yummy! I love to sip on hot drinks. Usually just coffee and hot tea, but this looks like a fun option to whip up for a special treat.
I love to make energy balls for a snack for me and the kids on occasion when I have some extra time. I always make double and freeze the extra for another time. I’m looking forward to trying this one out soon.
This one looks really yummy, and I’m really looking forward to making this one too. Again anyway to kind of disguise the oats for my kids. But I love oats and pumpkin and pumpkin spice. I’m sure this one will be a winner for me. It’s GF and option to do DF. I love recipes like this that you can double, freeze the extra for another super easy meal for later.
8. Creamy Pumpkin Chicken Chili (Paleo)
This one looks really interesting. Pumpkin Chili? Hmmm….Is this the ticket to winning the annual Chili Bowl? Chili is a hard one for me because I have to be careful with beans for my cranky digestive system. I also have one child who doesn’t like them (how is this possible for a half mexican child I ask haha). But this is a paleo version and I always like to try something different!
9. Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies (Paleo)
Yum! This one looks really good. Paleo Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies. Yes Please! Can’t wait to give this one a try.
This one I’m excited about making too. I didn’t even know pumpkin butter was a thing. But I love, love, love apple butter, so I’m looking forward to giving this one a try. It looks like a really quick and easy recipe to spread on bread etc. to make it extra delicioius.
I’m especially excited about trying this one! I LOVE RX bars especially the seasonal pumpkin flavored one! But they are so expensive and since they are seasonal they are only available a small portion of the year.
This one looks like a really simple and easy treat to whip up for a healthy snack or treat. Very simple ingredients and healthy.
These look really good too. Too bad someone broke my beloved waffle iron! I’m saving this one on my pinterest board for later when I get a new one.
This also look simple and delicious! I love a good healthy cookie recipe to make up once and a while (double batch for the freezer of course) for me and the kids.
Everyone loves a good smoothie recipe and this one looks really delicious. More like desert in my book. Can’t wait to try it!
One of my goals in life is to learn how to make an authentic curry. We have a local restaurant that has the best coconut milk based curry. If I could figure out how to make it at home we’d be saving some money. This recipe looks really good though and I’m interested to try it and see how it measures up to my favorite.
What can I say? It’s a pumpkin recipe round up. Must include a traditional pumpkin pie!!
These look like a delicious for the kids muffin recipe. Though I think they could probably be adapted to GF and dairy free easily enough.
Another super simple tasty treat that’s low carb to boot.
Ah the sadness of a dairy free life. No cheesecake. But I had to share it for my non DF friends, this looks so good!
